

Miguel attended Robstown High School and received his diploma in 1956. He was a member of the United States Air Force for 4 years as a jet plane mechanic. He retired from the Cullen Mall where he did maintenance for many years until the mall closed.
His favorite hobbies were reading books, and watching Western movies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Miguel Anaya, Sr. and Refugia Martinez Anaya; his brothers, Richard, Sebastain; Reynaldo and Isaac Anaya and his sister, Lucia Santillan Cortez.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Juanita Salinas Anaya; his children, Robert Anaya (Carol), Patricia Gallegos (Levi Jr.), Sylvia Rangel (Joe Richard), Hilda Rivera (Rick), Laura Chavez (Daniel, Jr.) and Michael Anaya III; grandchildren, Mary Ann, Amanda Renae, Erika, Matthew, Levi, Jr., Jacob, Joe Richard, Jr., Jordan, Richard II, Robert Jude, Daniel III, Juanita, Anna, Rico, Antonio Miguel and Miguel IV. Miguel is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Cheyenne, 549 Cheyenne St., on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5830 Williams Dr., on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St.
