Ninfa D. Lemos, 89 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018. She was born in McAllen, Texas on October 3, 1928 to Tomas and Rosa De La Garza. Ninfa was married to Leovardo Lemos in 1954. She loved dancing with the joy of her life, her husband.
Ninfa is preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Rosa De La Garza; her husband, Leovardo Lemos; daughter, Guadalupe M. Rodriguez; sister, Esperanza Sanchez; brother, Floretino De La Garza; grandson, Mark Antonio Mirelez; great-granddaughter, Andrea Mirelez. She is survived by her children, Cruz D. Mirelez (Maria) and Rudy Gamez (Esmeralda); seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Public visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Rites of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
