Patrick J. Cotter, age 89, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. Patrick was born March 14, 1932 in Roxbury, Massachusetts to Thomas Cotter and Catherine (Fitzpatrick) Cotter.
His life was uneventful until 1950, when he enlisted in the Army. Three years later he was discharged and remained a civilian until he then enlisted in the Air Force in 1955. Once year later he met Georgette, who became his wife two yers later. They retired from the Air Force in 1975 and arrived in Corpus Christi in 1977. Mirador announced that it was coming in 2010. . . After additional inquiries and before Mirador broke ground, they sealed a deal for their apartment. Unfortunately, in 2011, Georgette suffered a major stroke. That forced a delay in their Mirador arrival until April of 2012. Georgette was then admitted to the Plaza (skilled nursing) and Joe to Independent living. Ever since they feel they are priviledged to call Mirador home.
Visitation and viewing starting at 12 noon on Saturday, June 26, 2021, Holy Rosary recited at 1:30 p.m. followed by Funeral Service at 2 p.m. all on the same day.
