Paul L. Force

Paul Lawrence Force passed away on July 31, 2015 at the age of 77 with his family by his side. He was born on August 11, 1937 in Paterson, NJ to the late Wallace & Gladys Force. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 20 years and served during the Vietnam Era.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sarah Grace Force, his sisters Beatrice Elaine Chiappetta and Isabel (Jackie) Anthony. Paul is survived by his sister Flora L. Houghtaling and children: Paul L. Force, Jr. (Judith), Keith W. Force, Kenneth L. Force (Lisa), Jacqueline L. Force, Julie E. Gonzalez (Larry), Janet M. Force and J. Carol Rojas (Rudy); 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews; Step-children: Debbie Walker (dec.), Jennie Rivera, Dolores Suttles, Sarah Huizing, Dwayne & Dennis DeRitter; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous step-nieces and step-nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial-Holly from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Gethsemane Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015. Interment will be at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 noon. He will be buried with full military honors.
