Peggy Gene Berry

Peggy Gene Berry, age 80, of Corpus Christi Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 23, 2025. Peggy was born on November 27, 1944 in Charleston, West (by God) Virginia, a daughter of the late Virginia Conaty and Eugene Golden.

Peggy was a wife to her husband and high school sweetheart Michael Joseph Berry Sr., a sister to Neta McNeely, a mother to Laurie (Will) Kolodzie, Kenneth (Deborah) Berry, Jeffrey Scott (Caroline) Berry, Christopher Scott (Andie) Berry an adoptive mom to Suma (Steve) Burleigh. She was reunited with her two oldest sons Michael Joseph Berry Jr. and Jerry Clint Berry on the day of her passing. She was a grandmother to 10 grandchildren, great grandmother to 5 great grandchildren.

She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and was loved by all its members and she loved each of them.

The biggest impact that she made on this world was that she was a woman of great personal faith in Jesus Christ and was not afraid to show it. Her sudden passing was a great shock to many but we take great comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of Jesus and her family in Heaven.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on July 12, 2025 at Lighthouse Baptist Church 3226 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, Texas at 10:30 am.
