Radley Stephen Dalton

Radley Stephen “Steve” Dalton was born February 28, 1927 to parents Samuel Earl and Ruby Mae Ward Dalton in Lueders, Texas. He went to be with his Lord on June 09, 2017. He graduated from R. L. Paschal High School in Fort Worth, TX. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II and was discharged from the US Coast Guard. He married Ima Jo Williams on October 03, 1952 in Dallas, Texas.

Steve graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri on May 09, 1959. He pastored churches in Missouri and throughout Texas. After retirement, he taught Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Brighton Park Baptist Church in Corpus Christi for many years. He was also a partner in Accord Insurance Agency in C.C. TX.

He was preceded in death by parents, brother, Rayburn Dalton and Stepfather, Fred Gross.

He is survived by wife, Ima Jo Dalton and their 4 children; sons John Mark Dalton (Laura), Fredric Kevin Dalton (Margo), Gregory Scott Dalton( Cyndi), and daughter Karen Denise Dalton- deShetler; sister, Janice Dalton Zimmerman; 9 grandchildren and 2 great- grandsons.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2017 at Brighton Park Baptist Church with Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veteran Cemetery.
