Raul Morales Jr. passed away on November 24, 2018 at the age of 62. He was born on November 11, 1956 in Laredo, TX. Raul graduated from Moody High School and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Electronics and worked at CCAD for 34 years first as a Helicopter mechanic and then retiring as a Black Hawk PSA examiner. He loved spending time with his family and friends, watching the Cowboys play and fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Palomo Morales and father, Raul Morales Sr.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Gracie Morales; children, Robert Morales, Christina Morales and Elizabeth Morales; step-mother, Isabel Morales; siblings, Carmen (Robert) Marin, Gabriel (Rosy) Morales, Reyes (Mark) Mosqueda, Mary (Tony) Navarro, Maria Elena Morales and Jesse Morales. There are also six grandchildren, Anthony Soto, Anthony Martinez, Andrew Soto, Alyssa Martinez, Mariyah Morales and Robert Morales Jr. along with numerous extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Robert Morales, Robert Morales Jr., Anthony Soto, Anthony Martinez Jr., Andrew Soto, Anthony Martinez and Carlos Alvarez.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery with full military honors.
