Ricardo Garza Pena

Ricardo Garza Pena, 80 passed away on January 25, 2017. He was born on January 2, 1937 to the late Eduardo and Faustina Garza Pena in Sabinas Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ricardo served in the United States Army, PVT 1st Class PFP from 1955-1957 stationed in Korea. He married his soul mate Paula Linan Pena on January 10, 1960 and remained married until his passing for 57 years. He was employed by Chapman Construction in Corpus Christi. He enjoyed family functions and was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his beloved wife, Paula Linan Pena; sons, Jesus Ricardo (Levinia), Carlos (Juanita), George (Mary Ann), Jaime, Javier (Mari) Pena; daughters, Araceli Garza (Homer), Mary Dominguez; 16 grandchildren, Jesus Ricardo Jr., Juan Carlos, Joshua Felix, Marco Antonio (Marta), Joaquin Daniel (Heather), Jorge Miguel (Audrey), Stephanie Marie, Ashley Nicole (Joe), Jennifer Denise (Marcus), Kimberly Clarissa (Dustin), Catherine Elaine, Araceli Paula, Teresa Loryn, Lorenzo Rey, Abigail Grace, Priscilla Jamie; 8 great grand-daughters; siblings, Elva Paula (Jose), Maria Aurora (Martin), Maria Angelica (Luis), Eduardo Jr. (Inez), Maria del Pilar (Eleazar), Dora Hilda (Arthur), Adelma, Rene Mario (Graciela).

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Continued visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. with Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
