

He graduated from Texas School for the Deaf in Austin Texas. He was an employee of CCAD for many years. He recently graduated from Del Mar College and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Art.
Ricky touched several people lives, always happy go lucky. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gonzalo and Nicolasa Valverde; maternal grandparents, Alfredo and Esperanza Grande; his brothers, Daniel and Jose Valverde and his niece, Donelia Inez Valverde.
He is survived by his parents, Noe and Evangelina Valverde; his brothers, Juan, Noe, Jr., and Daniel Valverde; his sisters, MaryAnn Valverde-Gomez (Armando), Mary Helen Flores (Jesse) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Funeraria del Angel-549 Cheyenne with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, January 19, 2014 at Corpus Christi Cathedral Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
