Richard B Cook

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Nelle S. Cook; a son, Richard Michael (Lee Ann) Cook of Renton, Washington; a grandson, Chris Cook of Grants Pass, Oregon and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Mr. Cook served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Following his discharge he joined the Corpus Christi Police Department and retired in 1981. He enjoyed hunting, flying, and watching Wheel of Fortune which he referred to as the “Broken Wheel”.

The family would like to thank the staff at Odyssey Hospice and the Palms Nursing Home. Also a special thanks to his three angels, Sandra, Areshia, and Pat for their love and care.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Georgia. Burial will be in Ellaville City Cemetery in Georgia.
