Robert Alexander Little Jr.

Robert Alexander Little Jr. was born and embraced into the arms of Jesus on January 14, 2025.

“Your father and I were ecstatic when we found out you were going to be a boy. I remember the first time I felt you kick. That was a reminder, to let me know, that you were there, and you were not going anywhere, anytime soon. I knew you were going to be Mommy’s little dance partner and little rocker. Every time Mommy and Daddy played good music, you never stopped moving. Mommy read you Daddy’s favorite baby book and would sing to you most nights. Seeing your face for the first time, I could not get over how much hair you had and how your features were a beautiful mix of Mommy and Daddy. I will forever cherish the memories of your beautiful face and carry you everywhere I go. You will always be Daddy’s Little Slugger. This is not goodbye, but ‘see you later.’” – May Rose Ybarra

Robert is preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Josephine P. Robles and Linda Kay Vance; great-grandfather, Henry P. Saldaña; and aunts, Caitlyn Brianna Little and Sarah Ybarra. He is survived by his great-grandparents, Donnie and Jean Cain, William Lester Vance, Teresa Alvarado Saldaña, and Guadalupe Ybarra; grandparents: Robert and Amanda Little, Michelle Saldaña Ybarra and Michael G. Ybarra; parents, Robert Alexander Little and May Rose Ybarra; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

The family would like to express their gratitude to their wonderful family and friends for being here for Robert and May Rose and Baby Robert Jr. Thank you to the staff at Bay Area and Driscoll for taking very good care of Mommy and Baby Robert. Thank you to Caring Cradle for making it possible to spend as much time as possible with our precious baby boy. And to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep for providing remembrance photography for our family, that will last a lifetime.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM, on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where a Memorial Celebration will follow that same afternoon at 2:00 PM. Services will conclude in the Memory Gardens Chapel at 3:00 PM.
