Robert Longoria Sr.

Robert Longoria Sr., 77, of Corpus Christi, TX passed Away May 25,2025. He was born in Robstown, TX on September 1, 1947 to Daniel & Manuela Longoria. He married Maria C. Longoria August 23, 1966 in East Chicago, Indiana.

Robert was a proud member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He worked as an International Long Shoremen and Diesel Mechanic. His hobbies included working on cars, fishing, barbequing, and bowling. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, wonderful father, caring grandfather, and awesome great-grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuela & Daniel Longoria; and brothers, Carlos Longoria and Thomas Renteria.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Maria (Mary) Longoria; son, Robert (Buffy) Longoria Jr.; grandchildren, Erica (Paul) Tapia, and Amber (Michael) Flores; and great-grandchildren, Alexa Tapia, Paul Tapia Jr., and Gabriella Tapia; and siblings, Jacob (Doris) Renteria, Daniel (Elvira) Longoria, Sylvia (Arturo) Meza, Gloria Bass, Fernando (Ida) Longoria, Diane (Abel) Trevino, Armando (Nora) Longoria, Roman (Beatrice) Longoria, Norma (Anthony) Anzaldua, and Yolanda Longoria (sister-in-law).

A public visitation for Robert will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 1:30 PM, and a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 PM, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A committal and interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
