Robert Joseph Ochoa

Robert Joseph Ochoa, age 54, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Houston, TX. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on November 19, 1969, to parents Antonio and Josefina Ochoa.

Robert graduated from Foy Moody High School in Corpus Christi,TX and after graduation Robert decided to enlist in the United States Army where he proudly served for several years. For most of his life, Robert had a career as a Salesman for RadioShack, Verizon, TenEx, and most recently, Dell Computers.

Robert was married to his beloved wife, Michelle “Brandy” Ochoa on June 22, 1998. Together, they had three beautiful children Brennan, Josilyn, and Ryan.

In his spare time, Robert enjoyed playing board games; his particular favorite was Catan. He also enjoyed Magic the Gathering, an intricate card game played with multiple players. He would spend many nights at the Game Vault in El Paso, Texas, playing games with his family and friends. Robert also enjoyed watching several sports teams, his favorite being the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, and Texas Longhorns. Above all, Robert enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.

Robert is best described as a family man. He would do absolutely anything for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is reunited with his father, Antonio Ochoa. He leaves his legacy to his beloved wife of 25 years, Brandy Ochoa; their three children, Brennan (Jodi) Ochoa, Josilyn Ochoa, and Ryan Ochoa; mother, Josefina “Josie” Olivarez; siblings, Tony (Sandy) Ochoa and Donna (Conrad) Rios; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family will be receiving friends at 9 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Memorial Celebration for Robert will begin at 10 AM, where services will conclude in the Memory Gardens Chapel
