Robert Bucklin Siddall

Robert "Bucky" Bucklin Siddall passed away on August 28, 2017. He was born July 25, 1944 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Phyllis and Robert Lee Siddall. Robert was raised in Sherman, Texas and graduated from Sherman High in 1962. Robert then enlisted in the US Marine Corp, serving 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. After discharge, Robert attended and earned a BS from Del Mar College. He also met and married Marianne Lee Verburgt with whom he spent the rest of his life. Together for 44 years, they raised 2 sons and were blessed with the birth of 4 granddaughters. Robert enjoyed a career in the oil production industry, retiring from directional drilling with Baker Hughes in 2016.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Robert is survived by wife- Marianne, sons- Robert Bucklin Siddall Jr. and Edward Martin Siddall, 4 granddaughters and brother-George Siddall.

Robert is preceded in death by his father and mother. Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 3115 Ocean Drive Corpus Christi, TX where Robert was an active member for 45 years. Burial will be at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, Tx at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
