Roger L. Aguilar

He was born on October 28, 1956 in Corpus Christi, to Rodolfo and Laurencia Aguilar.

Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Army he retired from C.C.N.A.S. for 25 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Roger was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and son who will be missed dearly.

Roger is preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo Aguilar, Sr.

He leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 24 years, Josie R. Aguilar; one daughter, Laura Beth Aguilar and one son, Roger Aguilar, Jr.; two grandchildren, Marcus Rene and Matthew Ray Mesa; his mother, Laurencia Aguilar; one sister, Lamar Aguilar (Joe Villarreal); three brothers, Rudy Aguilar Jr., (Diana), Richard Aguilar (Mary), and Rene Aguilar, Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We would like to thank the staff of the 12th floor of St. Luke’s Hospital and the Heart Transplant Clinic.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Visitation will continue on Saturday, from 12:00 noon till time of Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
