Rosalinda Medina Cervantes

Rosalinda “Linda” Medina, age 62, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1963, in Corpus Christi, where she spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Linda was a devoted wife to Carlos Armendariz Medina and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She worked faithfully at La Costenita Restaurant for over 20 years, where she was known for her strong work ethic, warm smile, and kind heart.

Linda had a joyful spirit and loved the simple pleasures in life, playing lotería, visiting the slot machines, enjoying good food, and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She treasured every moment with her family and was known for her delicious pan de polvo and tamales, which brought everyone together and filled her home with love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Manuel and Zulema Medina, her sister Alma Medina, and her brother Ricky Medina.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Carlos Armendariz Medina; her children, Elizabeth Cervantes, Andres Cervantes, Ruben Cervantes, Victor Cervantes, and Lencho Cervantes; and her many adored grandchildren. Linda's love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation for Rosalinda will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405. Following the visitation will be a committal service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St, Corpus Christi, TX 78408.
