On October 31, 2012, the Lord came down and wrapped his arms around Sandra Cavazos and took her to her heavenly home. She was born December 31, 1957 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Demetrio and Maria Elena Castaneda.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Ramiro Castaneda.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond Livas (Albert and Valerie Livas); daughters, Roxanne Ovalle – Luera, April Cavazos, Lisa Cabrera; brothers, David R. Castaneda (Helen), Danny R. Castaneda (Mary); sister, Suzi Estell – De Luna (Rod); nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandra was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was a very happy and outgoing person that was full of life to the very end. She was a dedicated employee to her patients at Trinity Towers and was loved by many friends and coworkers.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. and last until 9 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
