Santos was one of the U.S.’s brave WWII veterans. He also enjoyed spending his time as a Boy Scout Master for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Rivera and a son, Edward Rivera. He is survived by his children, Pete Rivera (Annette), Linda Haney (Alvis), Rick Rivera (Debbie Gatica) and Lisa Lee (David); 1 daugter-in-law, Josie Rivera; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; 1 sister, Mary Gonzalez and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will be receiving friends at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holly on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
