Sheryl D Casanova

Sheryl Ann Davis Casanova went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 4:41pm. She was 72 years young, a native of Kenner, LA and resident of Cordova, TN and Corpus Christi, TX.

Wife of the late William Lawrence “Larry” Casanova and loving mother of Mark and Kevin Casanova. Lovingly known as “Nana” to seven (7) grandchildren, two (2) sisters, a brother, many nieces & nephews, and other relatives & friends. She loved and adored 5 feline companions over many years.

She graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School in 1969.

She worked as a talented administrative colleague for 35+ years at several organizations including Dunn & Brad Street in New Orleans, Jennifer Palmer & Co in Metairie, LA and Methodist Surgery Center in Germantown, TN.

She had wonderful gifts in artistic abilities. She loved ceramics and painting, which brought her many notable awards and accolades. But her most beloved hobby was gardening - one of her proud accomplishments was obtaining Master Gardener credentials in the State of Tennessee.

Her Christian faith was very important to her. She attended Christian Life Center in Kenner, LA and Yorktown Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, TX during her life.

She will always be remembered for her welcoming smile and gentle, caring spirit.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 24, 2023, from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm at Parkview Baptist Church, 6301 Camphor St., Metairie LA.
