Stevan R Gomez

Stevan enjoyed fishing and especially hunting. He had a great love of music and could play the guitar and sing. He was a very caring and loving man with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marcos Gomez. He is survived by his wife, Carol Gomez; his son, Steve Gomez and his dear mother, Paula Gomez. Also surviving him are his brothers, Marcos Gomez Jr. and his wife, Olga, Gregory Gomez and his wife, Gracie, Andy Gomez and his wife, Mary Lou of Corpus Christi; sisters, Lupe Atkinson and her husband, George of San Antonio, TX, Sylvia Garza and her husband, Martin, Vera Gomez, and Connie Prado and her husband, Ismael all of Corpus Christi and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

The family would like to extend their special thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers during Stevan’s illness.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited that same evening at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd. on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 10:00 am. Services will conclude after the service.
