

Thomas Clinton Keener, 69, passed away September 11, 2010. Thomas was born May 31, 1941, in St. Joseph, Louisiana, to Thomas Lester and Vivian Lee Keener. Mr. Keener retired from the United States Navy after serving his country in the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lester Keener and a brother, John David Keener.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rosita Keener of Corpus Christi, Texas; 4 sons, David (Candy) Keener of Nashville, Tennessee, Lester (Cassie Links) Keener of Fort Worth, Texas, Rolland John Keener of Bandera, Texas and William (Stephanie Christiansen) Keener of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, Bryce, Steven, Timothy, Christian, and Collin Keener; mother, Vivian Keener of Waterproof, Louisiana; brother, James “Dink” Keener of Whitehall, Montana; sisters, Carol Sanders of Monterey, Louisiana and Sharon Darlene Hinson of Waterproof, Louisiana; numerous, nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2010 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial with military honors and additional services will be held in Louisiana at a later date.
