He was born on November 22, 1967 in Dumas, Texas. Received certifications for Industrial Firefighter, Advanced Confined Space, Structural Collapse, High Angle Rescue, and State of Texas Emergency Medical Technician in 1994 at Texas A & M; Occupational Environmental Safety & Health certified through Columbia Southern University Bachelor in 1997- 2001; TEEX/ DOL Certified Safety and Health Official at Texas A & M in 2002-2003.
He joined the U.S. Army in 1985-1993, specializing in communications. Served in Panama, Desert Storm, and Somalia as an Army Ranger. Received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
He had a heart of gold and carried around a positive and encouraging spirit. He loved to help others more than he asked help for himself. He had a very eventful life, really did it all, he lived it to the fullest with no fear. He spoke his mind that’s for sure but only because he cared to say the truth, he did not like beating around the bush so to speak. Even though he had a short fuse at times, he liked to joke a lot and make people laugh. His smile and his laughter will be greatly missed, His wife knows she did her utmost best to love and care for her best friend so much, whom she loved more than anything, more than herself.
He will be forever remembered by his wife, Melissa, and survived by his children, Patrick and Marissa, always be remembered by his parents Jack Beavers and Belinda Strader, and by his brother, Damen Beavers. He will also be remembered always by his aunts, uncle, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
A viewing service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020, 12 noon-2 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
