Tomas Balderas

Tomas graduated from Miller High School and Del Mar College. He was employed for Pepsi Cola, Rainbo Bread and Dolly Madison doing Route Sales and was a merchandising supervisor for Budweiser.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Benjamin T. Garza.

He leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Mary E. Balderas; daughter, Yvonne Balderas; sisters, Rita Balderas, Rosa Balderas, Elena (Bill) Cantu and Patricia (Jimmy) Reyes; brothers, Pablo (Rosie) Balderas, Larry Garza (Liza) and Ben Garza, Jr. Also surviving him are numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel –Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2011 with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Tomas’ wife and daughter would like to thank Christus Spohn Hospital for their great effort in helping him with his illness. They would also like to extend their gratitude to the personnel in C.C. Specialty Hospital, his guardian angels, Luis Ruiz, Carolyn Anderson and Hope Corkill. And a very special thanks to his best friend, Adrian Garcia.
