Tomas Garcia wore many hats throughout his life. He worked as a ranch hand, handyman, and landscaper, both independently and for the Glen Young Ranch, where he dedicated many years of hard work. He was a proud and faithful member of the Church of Pilar.
Tomas had a deep passion for gardening and greenery. He cared deeply for animals, often rescuing stray dogs and training them to help herd cattle. He enjoyed shooting his rifles and took pride in his collection of rifles and knives. In his free time, he could often be found collecting metal and recyclables.
Tomas was a devoted fan of the Cowboys—not for football, but they were Cowboys. Anyone who knew him knew he was a man of good character. He passed away just a few days shy of his 78th birthday. He will be greatly missed by all those were in his life.
