Tomas Lopez Jr.

Tomas Lopez, Jr. passed away January 4, 2018. He was 85. He was born in Driscoll, Texas on October 3, 1932. Tomas was a retired truck driver and worked for H-E-B for almost 50 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Tomas was an amazing husband, father and provider. He was an Army Veteran. He loved to listen to music, work in his yard and spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Elisa Hernandez Lopez; father, Tomas Lopez Sr.; mother, Juana Maria Cipriano Lopez and two brothers, Julian Lopez and Hector Lopez. Survivors include his son, Alberto Lopez; daughter, Belinda Lopez, grandchildren, Brandon Palacios, Joe Fonseca, Jessie Yanez and Mathew Trevino, 6 other grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Concepcion Lopez, Angelita Reyes and Margarita Alvarez and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holly Funeral Home with Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
