Toribia L. Gallegos, 94, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away July 22, 2017. She was born in Nixon, Texas on April 16, 1923 to Jose Lopez and Maria Nieto Lopez. Toribia married Pedro F. Gallegos on April 28, 1940. She had a passion for gardening. Toribia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Pedro F. Gallegos; her parents; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by Paula (Frank) Mata, Leo (Rachel) Gallegos, Luisa (Richard) Mireles, Pete (Elvira) Gallegos, Theresa Gallegos Garza, 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rosehill Memorial Park.
