Valerie West Nine, 78 of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on December 15, 2020. She was born in Mathis, Texas on August 10, 1942 to Thomas West and Hulda Maria Jaroszewski West. Valerie graduated from Mathis High School and worked as a medical records clerk for Memorial Hospital and later a receptionist for The Palms Nursing Home. Valerie had a passion for knitting, crocheting, and reading.
She is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Everitt) Sliger; Carolyn (Toby) Kendall; nephew, Kevin Kendall; niece, Rhonda Sliger.
Graveside services for Valerie will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 am at Sandia Cemetery in Sandia, TX.
