

Victor M. Trevino, Sr. “Tuta”, 68 went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Victor passed away peacefully from this life to his eternal home with dignity and grace, surrounded by his beloved family on August 1, 2013. Victor died of pancreatic cancer. Victor fought the good fight, the fight of faith. Victor was born In Corpus Christi, Texas on June 11, 1945. Victor is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo C. Trevino and Anita E. Trevino and his sister, Maria V. Saenz. Victor loved serving God and Jesus Christ. Victor’s places of employment were C.C. International Airport as airport police and fireman, U.S. Marshal Services with Pinkerton’s as a Special Deputy Marshall. His last employment was with Vance International Security for Koch Refinery. Victor loved spending special time with his family. Victor enjoyed watching sports and car racing. Victor was sometimes a lucky fisherman. He also loved to travel all over California, the Islands of Maui and Oahu in Hawaii. His last trip was to Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Victor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Victor’s memory will be cherished by his beloved wife of 31 years, Estella Trevino, who by the Grace of God was his constant source of love and support; his children by his first marriage; two daughters, Melinda (Harvey) Hernandez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Delia (Han) Tran of Oakland, California; one son, Victor (Mary Ann)Trevino, Jr. of Houston Texas, one step daughter, Priscilla (Oscar )Benavides of Corpus Christi, Texas whom he claimed as his daughter ; nine grandchildren, Harvey and Anthony Hernandez; Diego and Desi Tran; Alexandria and Timothy Trevino; Marc (Lorenda) Benavides; Erica (Gary) Russell, III; and Vanessa Benavides; three great-grandchildren, Sophia and Tristen Cleary and Gary Allen Russell, IV; two sisters, Carol Villarreal of Houston, Texas and Yolanda Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas; four brothers, Paul Trevino, Juan (Sylvia) Trevino, and Richard (Taide) Trevino of Corpus Christi, Texas, Valentine Trevino of San Antonio, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Marc Benavides, Gary Russell III, Juan Trevino, Richard Trevino, Harvey Hernandez and Han Tran.

Public visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same day. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
