Viola B. Saldivar

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 30 years Anibal Saldivar; one sister and two brothers.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Letizia Garcia (Abel) of Bryan, Texas; Priscilla Trinidad of Beeville, Texas; and one son Adrian Saldivar of Corpus Christi, Texas; a brother, Armengol “Joe” Beltran of Lincoln, NB.

Her survivors include seven grandchildren, Kyle Martinez, Ashley Rocha, Brittany Johnson, Kayla Novak, Matthew Garcia, Cierra Novak, Alex Garcia and six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters – in-law, Olivia Beltran of Corpus Christi, Texas and Mildred Beltran of South Carolina and a very special cousin Maricella Cantu of Corpus Christi, Texas; additional family in California, Utah, and Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Viola worked as a cashier with Kroger‘s and K-Mart.

Her family will receive family and friends at 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
