She was married to Alfredo B. Garza on September 21, 1979, and had three children. She was a very passionate member of Church and the spiritual leader for our family. She was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys but thank God she was never mad with their performance because then she would have been mad all year long! She also loved playing Bingo, scratch offs and guess what she would win. She loved spending time with her family and close friends, always ready for some good chisme. She always thought of others by putting herself second to make sure everyone was good because she had a huge heart. When she was in the kitchen, she would make meals to feed an army because she always made sure there was enough food to go around. She was in love with the man of her dreams, and it showed even until her time was called into Heaven. When she lost Alfredo B. Garza, she lost her soulmate of 42 wonderful years and a huge piece of her Heart went with him. She always said she couldn’t wait until that day she would be back with him in Heaven saying “When the Groom comes back for his Bride.” Now she is with the Love of Her Life and soulmate Alfredo B. Garza in Heaven looking down a upon us with happiness and love.
She was survived by her children Jose & Michelle De La Paz, Amanda & Gilberto Chaidez, Laura & Zack Stone and grandchildren Christian Reed Stone, Alberto Vargas Jr., Jordan, Taylor, Jaykob, Brandyn and Mia De La Paz.
