William H. Gearhart Jr.

William Henry Gearhart Jr., age 86 passed away September 22, 2015. He was born on November 11, 1928 to William H. Gearhart and Bertha Fleagle in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. He was raised in Westminster, Maryland. He was a veteran of The United States Army serving in the Korean Conflict.

William retired from the Civil Service in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He had been a member of the Corpus Christi Police Reserve for several years. William started a Nazarene Church in Virginia. He was preceded by his first wife Marion in 1983. William will be remembered for his devotion to his family and to his church Abundant Life Nazarene Church. He was a giving individual to many people with an open heart.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Florence M. Gearhart, 2 daughters Cindy Cannon, Debbie Rodriguez, 3 sons Billy (Bonnie), Tim (Barbara), Randy (Darcy), 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 5-9 p.m. at Cage-Mills Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Cage-Mills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
