William R. Kidd

William "Bill" R. Kidd passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019. He was 89 years old. He was born in Denver, Colorado to Dorothy and Merrill Kidd. Bill was raised in Colorado and graduated from the Air Force Academy and then from University of Kansas. He served in the Air Force from 1951 - 1971. He was a Major and served as a pilot over Vietnam.

Bill was married to his wife Joanne for 49 years. He enjoyed participation in windsurfing, car racing, directing church music, taking fun family vacations, and service to God and his church.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Joanne Kidd; his mother Dorothy Kidd; his father Merrill Kidd; and his daughter Deborah Kidd-Burnett.

He is survived by his daughters: Rebecca Potter, Sarah (Ralph) Pitzer, Hannah (Aaron) Beach; his sister Jo ann Kleeves; 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
