

Clarence was born in West Bedford on February 3, 1934 to the late Clarence E. and Lulu (Laflin) Moran. For 60 years, Clarence worked at Coshocton Automotive, which later became NAPA, where he worked as a clerk and book keeper. He enjoyed spending his time working on puzzles and bowling. He especially loved being outside where he would garden, cut and split wood, and mow the yard. He also raised cattle and rabbits.
Clarence is survived by his four children: Rhonda (Tim) Sauerbrey, Cindy (Craig) Porter, Peggy (Ed) Shaw, and Vince (Tina) Moran; seven grandchildren: Amanda, Keith, Brian, Kristy, Nick, Phillip, and Dustin; 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Donis Moran, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by two brothers: Leroy and Jim Moran; two grandchildren: April Hammersly-Yodeer and Casey Moran; and the mother of his children, Rose Moran.
Funeral services for Clarence will be held at Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral service at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
