

Clem graduated from West Lafayette High School and then joined the United States Navy serving from 1944 to 1946. While in the military, Clem served in the South Pacific and was extremely honored and proud to say that he served in the United States Navy.
On June 12, 1948 he married Jeannine M. (Cramer) Foster. Clem loved watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. He enjoyed stock car racing and spending time with his family and friends. Clem was a very ornery man who loved to joke around and have a good time. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
Clem is survived by his son, David (Shirley) Foster of West Lafayette; five grandchildren, Suzi Tornbreg of Modesto, CA, Scott Foster of West Lafayette, Tina Foster of Daytona, FL, Brian Foster of Beverly, WV, and Travis Foster of Manassa, VA; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Ken (Jane) Foster of Ft. Myers, FL, special cousin, Ben Hartsock, one aunt, one niece, and several cousins. Along with his parents, Clem is preceded in death by his wife Jeannine, daughter, Marchelle Foster, and infant brother, Richard.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at Fairfield Cemetery with Pastor Starkey Lawrence officiating and with the Coshocton County Veterans Council performing military honors.
