David Alan Hawthorne

Dave graduated from Riverview High School in 1996 and then served in the United States Army for two years. He loved animals, enjoyed hunting and especially being outdoors.

Dave is survived by his father, Michael (Cynthia) Hawthorne of California, mother, Vicky (Rickey) Madison of Tarlton; daughter, Sarah McPherson; two sisters, Angela Hawthorne and Jessica (Robert) Gray; four step-brothers, Rickey (Rachel) Madison Jr., Erick (Valerie) Madison, James (Marisa) Hawthorne, and Kurt (Dawn) Anderson; one step-sister, Laura (Michael) Lowe; two grandmothers, Mary Hahn and Friederike Hawthorne Eick; and many aunts and uncles. Dave is preceded in death by his step-father of 22 years, Daniel Anderson; grandparents, Richard Hahn, Margaret Hawthorne, and Gerald Sick; and one uncle, Ricky (Lori) Hahn.

Calling hours for Dave will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Given-Dawson Funeral Home from 5:00-6:30 pm with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
