

She graduated from Coshocton High School in 1977 and was a cook and dietitian throughout her life, she worked for Sycks Bakery, Robson’s Restaurant making her famous macaroni and chicken salads, Hannah Marie’s Bakery and retired in 2021 from Windsorwood.
“Doona or John “as she was affectionately known as by her family, loved Michigan Football. She enjoyed drinking a nice cold Miller Lite, accompanied by a Little Debbie Ho Ho, while watching Law & Order SVU and Criminal Minds. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and she loved her dog Bailey who passed away. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving sister, Brenda (Donnie) Howell of West Lafayette, her nephew, Lance Howell of Fresno, niece, Kiesa (LJ) Campbell of Canton, great-niece, Roslynn Howell, cousin, Katherine Wimer and many close friends and co-workers.
Along with her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her aunt and uncles, Tippy (Dencie) Wimer and William Wimer.
Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Celebration of Life following at 7:00 pm with Pastor Neal Dearyan officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Roslynn Howell's Trust Fund/College Fund, c/o Park National Bank, 229 N. 3rd Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 or to the Funeral Home to help with funeral cost. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
