Eugene worked for Fairmont Foods of Clarksburg, West Virginia and of Coshocton, Ohio. Then, in 1969, Eugene enlisted in the United States Army. He enjoyed helping his family when they needed him. He liked to talk about the friends that he grew up with in West Virginia and he loved hunting and trying to outsmart deer with his grandsons.
