Evelyn Medley

Evelyn Ruth Medley, age 89, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away at Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, November 26, 2011. She was born in Coshocton County on September 2, 1922, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Stone) Peters. Evelyn was a 1940 graduate of Plainfield High School, and worked for Novelty Advertising for 10 years. On February 2, 1969 she married Charles “Bud” Medley who preceded her in death in 2009. She is survived by one son, Randall (Roxanne) Harding; two step-sons, Steve (Rebecca Lawson) Medley, and Randy (Diana) Medley; five grandchildren, Myra (John) Davis, Rebecca Harding (Rick) Miller, Randall Harding II, Rachel Harding, and Sabrina Mitchell Bickle; five great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband Evelyn is preceded in death by one brother, Russell Peters; two sisters, Dorothy Barton, and Marilyn Clark; and ex-husband, Homer Ralph Harding. Per Evelyn’s wishes there will be no public services held. Burial will take place at Plainfield Cemetery. Given-Dawson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
