Jack was born on August 6, 1935 in Summerset, Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Lucille (Minor) Beatty. Jack joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1953 and served until he was honorably discharged in 1956. He then worked at Rigid Tool in New Philadelphia until he moved to Florida and worked in a laborer’s union in West Palm Beach. Jack was a member of the Coshocton County Eagles and the New Philadelphia VFW. He was an avid fisherman and he loved to play cards.
Jack is survived by his four children: Jackie L. Vanaman of Rayland, Robert E. (Luann) Beatty of Massillon, Mitchell E. Beatty of West Lafayette, and Charles (Katie) Green of Pittsburg, PA; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Texann Beatty.
Along with his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his daughter, Glendora Evans, and his brother, Robert Beatty.
Per the family’s wishes, Jack will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
