Leonard John Rhyne III

Leonard was a Chef, and enjoyed fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers, spending time with family and friends, and was always a comedian. He was the 2011 Tough Man champion in the heavyweight division in Parkersburg. He loved making people laugh, and was an all around good man. He was very supportive and enjoyed helping people, and loved his children very much. Everything he touched turned to gold. Leonard was very handy and could fix almost anything. He was excellent at carpentry, landscaping, and fixing cars. He had a beautiful spirit and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Leonard is survived by his four children Malik, Myah, Markell, and Madison Rhyne, as well as his siblings, Tiffany (Abbott) Bynum, Ada Rhyne, Brian Rhyne, and Daniel Rhyne. He is also survived by his father Leonard Rhyne Slade, and special friends Trudi, Jason, Mike, and Jeremy, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Leonard was preceded in death by his mother Teresa Abbott.

Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home Monday, April 18, 2022 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm.
