Richard Arthur Wright

Richard was a graduate of the last class of 1965 at Three Rivers High School. He joined the United States Navy in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1969. Richard worked as a coal miner at Peabody for more than 20 years before he retired.

He was the Commander of the VFW for 3 years, a member of the American Legion, Army Navy, Moose, Eagles and the Masons. Richard enjoyed golfing and riding his Harley. He was a very sweet, loving, ornery man who would do anything for his friends and family, especially his daughter and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Bill) Moody of Coshocton; grandchildren, Lane Richard and Macy Darlene Moody of Coshocton; one brother, Steve Wright of California; and three nephews, Steven Wright of California, Shane (Loretta) Wright of Coshocton and Sam (Leslie) Wright of Coshocton.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
