Rita Williams

Rita Marie Williams, age 73, of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. She was born in Coshocton on April 1, 1938 to the late Owen Michael and Theresa Marie (O’Brien) Fagan. Rita graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School and attended Bliss Business College in Columbus, Ohio where she met her husband Lindy Luck Williams. They were married on November 6, 1958 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Delaware, Ohio. Rita was a life time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s ball games, traveling, watching Notre Dame Football and Basketball games, and spending time with her family. Along with her husband Lindy, she is survived by her children, Tammy (Jim) McGinnis-Geerts of Coshocton, Daniel (Sherry) Williams of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Travis (Robin) Williams of Coshocton; five grandchildren, 1st Class Petty Officer, Shaun Michael McGinnis of Yorktown Naval Base, Virginia, Brock and Alyssa Williams of Cambridge, Ohio, and Cammron and Carlie Williams of Coshocton; two step-grandchildren, Nickkia and Donald Smith of Morehead City, North Carolina; step-great-grandson, Mile Miceli of Morehead City, North Carolina; one sister, Shirley Conrad of Zanesville, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Robert Able of Coshocton, and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Rita was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie Lynn McGinnis; four sisters, Mary Jane Plematis, Gertrude Gruic, Catherine Haag, and Theresa Able; and three brothers, Paul Fagan, Daniel Fagan, and Bernard Fagan. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father William Hritsko officiating.
