Roger Allen Shaw

Roger was born in Coshocton on December 20, 1937 to the late Gaylord and Rita (Weber) Shaw. Roger was a very passionate man and there was nothing he was more passionate about than golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. Roger also loved watching baseball. On March 25, 1989, Roger married the love of his life, Sharon Porcher, with whom he recently redid his wedding vows on March 24, 2016.

Along with his wife, Roger is survived by his four children: Robert (Amy) Shaw,David Shaw, Gina (Mike) Montgomery, and Jackie (Vic) Friend; ten grandchildren: Rylie, Dylanie, Jansen, Madison, Lexi, Robert, Amanda, Heather, Michael, and Carrie; six great-grandchildren: Mia “Stormie”, Michael, Haylee, Leah, Colton, and Weston; his brother, James (Rita) Shaw, his sister, Sandy (Kenny) McCullough, many nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, Bo.

Along with his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his brother, David Shaw.

Calling hours for Roger will be held at Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 4:30 p.m. officiated by Roger’s wife, Sharon.
