

Barbara Gail Voronaeff, age 82, passed away in Newport Beach on March 22, 2021. Barbara was born on August 8, 1938 in Los Angeles to Edward Reichard and Alice Quigley Reichard, who predeceased her. Barbara grew up in North Hollywood and attended Immaculate Heart High School, which she graduated from in 1956. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Southern California and her Juris Doctorate from Irvine University College of Law.
In her early years, Barbara enjoyed modeling and also served as an airline stewardess. She later worked in the business office at Hoag Hospital. Barbara lived in Newport Beach for over 50 years, enjoying many days at the Balboa Bay Club pool and meals at The Crab Cooker. She later enjoyed attending water aerobics classes at her local senior center and became an avid poker player there as well. Barbara was always a whiz with numbers, and had a keen interest in numerology and astrology. She was always willing to listen and give good advice to those who asked.
Barbara had three sons, and had a special relationship with her youngest son, Brett, who was a tremendous help and comfort to her in her later years. Barbara is survived by all three of her sons, Scot (Norma) Voronaeff of Honolulu, HI, Kent Voronaeff of Eugene, OR, and Brett Voronaeff of Santa Ynez, CA. She is also survived by her two sisters, Jill (Keith) Adkins of San Ramon, CA and Cindy (Deem) Rahall of Lake Forest, CA, four nephews and a niece, and seven grand nieces and nephews whom she adored.
