Seems so surreal that it has been over a year, September 15, 2012.  Amazing how time still goes on, but yet seems to be back to July 15, 2011.

It seems that by posting my thoughts here it feels like I am talking to you.  Things are changing and I am hoping that it is for the good.  IWe just celebrated Keira's birthday last Sunday and this Wednesday, July 25 was Liam's 2nd birthday.  Kaitlyn will be turning 11 on August 7 and Max will be turning 2 on August 13.  I am putting these important dates it is amazing how time has gone by, but yet seems to be standing still.  We missed you so much on Sunday.  I am hoping that I don't over think and just let things be.  Till next time.

Sunday, July 15, 2012 will be exactly one year since we lost you.  I think of you everyday and wish that you would call me for something, anything.  I can actually feel and notice the change in myself, even when I am with my family.  It just feels "different" or not complete.  I guess that is part of life.  I wish that you were here, not anything in particular, but just here.  We miss you so much.  Elijah said that he saw you a few weeks ago in the hallway of our house and he said you told him that your were checking in on us to make sure we are OK.  We are OK, Pa because I know that you are watching over us.  Time still has not healed me yet.

Tomorrow, March 9, 2012 would have been your 69th Birthday.  We would be getting together "surprising" you with a BBQ and cake.  You would be surrounded by your kids and grandkids.  I wish you were here celebrating with us tomorrow.  Still seems so unreal that your not here with us.  I sit here crying as I am writing this, still hurts just as much.  We love and miss you so much.  Happy Birthday Pa!

Today is five months since we last saw you.  Still seems so unreal that you are not here with us.  Only ten days till Christmas, but will  never be the same.  We are all still heart broken and still trying to find our way.  We miss you every day that passes.

Today is four months since we last saw you.  Our house will be full of family, fun, laughter for Thanksgiving.  Even though the house will be full, it will seem and be so empty without you here with us. It's still so hard to believe that your not here.  Still cry myself to sleep at night thinking of you.

Today is one of the happiest days of my life.  I witnessed the birth of my nephew Ethan Boheim Rynning at 934pm.  It is also one of the saddest days of my life because my father did not get a chance to meet his 15th grandchild.  Meeting Ethan is so bittersweet.  I had tears of joy and tears of saddness.  If my father was here, he would tell my sister how proud he is of her tonight.

Six birthdays have now passed without Pa here to celebrate with us.  Liam and Max in July.

Today is three months and four birthdays without you at our family gathering.  We gave Keira (July), Kaitlyn (August), Luke (September), extra hugs and kisses.  Today, we will be giving Tessa extra hugs and kisses from Pa for her 5th birthday.  Elijah said it was weird and strange to visit you at the cemetery instead of at the house last Sunday.  Some still ask why, but I ask when, when will we see you again.

Today is exactly two months since I last saw you.  It hurts just as much today as it did July 15 and will hurt just as much as the months and years go by.  I still wait for you to call and think about you every single day.  They said time will heal, I'm still waiting.

Mr. Boheim worked for Ellison for a very long time. He was a deciated and loyal employee. He was part of the family and he will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dearest Father,

I am going to miss the good times we had when we would just hang out and watch t.v.  I remember when an infomercial would come on and you would get mad because they would exaggerate a scenario.  I could always count on you to say, "seriously, who would be stupid enough to do it that way?"; it sounded better in Loation and the way you said it.  It would crack me up every time because you would change the channel in disgust.  I would always have to tell you, "it's just a commercial and there are some stupid people out there that would do just that."
     Seeing your face light up when your grandchildren came to visit brought a smile to my face and warmth to my heart.  You loved them all sooooo much!  You would call out for someone to bring out a camera and take pictures.  I never really saw how important it was at the time but in hindsight I'm glad that you did that or else I would have never captured you and Liam in a moment of bonding.  Thank you for everything that you have done for all of us and the wonderful memories.  Until we meet again, whether in this life, the next or in Sawan (Heaven), you will always be in our hearts.

To a much loved father, grandfather, husband, uncle, and friend.  Without you and mom, we would not have been who and where we are today.  Your sacrifice for your family shows how much you loved and wanted so much more for us.  For that I owe nothing but love and gratitude.  I still wait for you to call to tell me that your prescription needs a refill, even though it was automatically done.   Although we at times don't show our love, I have loved you from the day I was born.  You have tought our sons, by example how to love, respect, and with hard work, you can accomplish anything.  I will continue to love you in this lifetime until we meet again in the next lifetime.
