Charlene Green

Charlene Green, a long-time resident of Costa Mesa, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 19th, at age 93.

Charlene was born in Missouri and lived there until she moved to Costa Mesa in 1955 with her husband Joseph C. Green, sons Roger and Gary, and daughter Connie.

Charlene was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was of paramount importance to her during her lifetime. Many fond memories will continue to be shared by her family members for years to come. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Charlene was an original employee of Sears, South Coast Plaza. After raising her children, she went to work for Sears, where she spent over 20 years before retiring.

Charlene leaves behind her 3 (three) children, 6 (six) grandchildren, and 4 (four) great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph C. Green.

She will be forever cherished and missed dearly. We, the Green family, will get through, but we will never forget this remarkable "Lady."

A visitation will take place Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Mortuary, 1625 Gisler Avenue, Costa Mesa, California 92626. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park at 2:30pm.
