Filomena Teresa Pirro

Filomena Teresa Pirro, passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2025, at the remarkable age of 99. Born on May 12, 1926, in Calabria, Italy, Filomena brought with her a quiet grace, a generous heart, and a warmth that touched everyone blessed to know her.

Filomena was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Alexander Pirro, whom she married in 1947. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, hard work, and unwavering love. They raised seven children—Emilia, Alexander, Theresa, Cecilia, Joseph, Christopher, Lucia—each of whom she cherished beyond measure.

Her family was truly the center of her world.

A woman of deep faith, Filomena was a treasured member of St. Joachim Church, where her gentle presence and kind spirit were felt by all. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially dancing to her favorite Lawrence Welk music.

Filomena leaves behind a legacy woven with love, compassion, and quiet strength. She is survived by her seven children, 15 beloved grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, each carrying forward her memory in the way they love, laugh, and live their lives.

Her gentle spirit, warm embrace, and devoted heart will be profoundly missed, yet forever remembered by all who had the privilege of loving her. May our beautiful mothers spirit remain in our hearts. Heaven has gained a new angel who will always be with us. We know that she is now home with our dad and our Lord Jesus

and the Blessed Virgin Mary who loves her so much.
