Irene Borses was born May 27, 1947 to Nellie Ford Barnes and Charles Barnes. She married Dwight Borses on April 17, 1970. She passed on August 17, 2025. Irene was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, friend, daughter, and sister. She is survived by her children Bekki and Dan, daughter-in-law Maria, grandchildren Marina, Karolyn and Vaughan, and siblings Don and Susie. Irene taught countless children as an educator both in public school and at her beloved spiritual community Congregation B’nai Tzedek. Irene loved to bake, bread most of all, and loved to share her knowledge and expertise with family and friends alike. She had a sharp and snarky wit and will be missed. May her memory be a blessing.
