Sid was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and worked as a designer of commercial office interiors, having his own company, "Jacobs Design Associates."
Sid served in the Air Force as a photo interpreter, serving honorably in Vietnam.
Sid, more than anything else, adored his soulmate, his wife Ronni of 40 years. They were so close it is hard to write about one, without thinking of the other, and the lovely marriage they were fortunate to share.
Sid and Ronni enjoyed traveling, attended and ushered for the Laguna Beach Theatre and enjoyed their California life together.
Sid and Ronni were especially proud of their children Andrew and Evan and had many adoring friends.
Nothing says more about a man, than how he responds to adversity. Sid's response to his many medical ailments was to write poetry. One of his best friends Barry, has requested the poem Sid wrote about him, one day be read at his own funeral.
Perhaps God did not want Sid to suffer the ravages of advanced lung cancer. After he reminisced with family and friends, only a few days ago, God led him to join Ronni awaiting Sid in Heaven. Sid's Jewish belief and heritage comforted him and supported him particularly at the end of his life.
After Ronni died Sid continued to live with his son Evan. There can be no doubt that Evan's compassion and their mutual love prolonged and enriched Sid's life.
Sid and Ronni will be missed by all.
Sid is survived by his sons Andrew and Evan, daughter-in-law Christy and brothers Norman and Lesley.
Sidney, you and Ronni will Live in Our Hearts Forever!
