Born in the Bronx, Stanley lived his values working hard to provide for himself and later his family. He put himself through City College of New York and earned a master’s in engineering. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and spent six years in the Army Reserves. He worked at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a Senior Engineer, focusing on projects that improved public infrastructure and safety.
In retirement, Stanley truly enjoyed and had reason to be proud of the handbag business he and Ellen ran together. He also founded a comedy club in the Laguna Woods community. Over 30 years, it grew to over 500 members, a place where laughter and friendship flourished.
He is survived by his wife Ellen, of 61 years, sons Michael, Richard and Brian; daughters-in-law Michele and Melissa; and grandchildren Jesse, Dylan, and Brooklynn. Family was the center that guided everything he did.
